Mick Koffend, Director of Services, has a keen ability to see any situation from the 10,000-foot level and identify creative, effective ways to address it. In addition to his role as Care Manager, Mick is the Marketing Director, is responsible for the business infrastructure and is a public speaker on issues impacting today's seniors and their families (see the Learning Events page for details). After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mick earned an MBA degree from Harvard University and went on to work in the corporate world and then as a Certified Public Accountant. These experiences taught Mick to look at things from an analytical perspective and enable him to skillfully oversee Accountable Aging's ElderLife Financial Management service offerings and the SafetyNet Bill Paying service. His passion for the challenges seniors face with prescription overload and medication confusion led Mick to also establish the SafetyNet Medication Management service.
